Physical Education is an integral part of the total education for every student in Kindergarten through Year 12. Physical Education is a process of education through physical activities. Simply put instructions in physical exercises and games. It introduced sports like football, soccer, tennis, netball etc. It also shows how to exercise properly and making exercises fun by doing creative games that requires physical effort. But should we let students at school do P.E every week? Of course! I’m going to tell you why students should do P.E in school every week!
Firstly, students should do P.E in school every week because it reduces stress from children. Surveys have shown that 27 precent of kids are concerned about their stress levels, while 20 per cent of children aged 11-14 say that they are struggling to cope with it. Most students might stress about a lot of problems that vary from different people. They can stress because of school, friend problems, family problems and more. If we let students do Physical education which is really fun and relaxing, students stress levels will go down and they won’t be resulting in mental issues such mental problems such as anxiety and depression, which are issues that start with stress.
Secondly, students should do P.E in school every week because it improves physical fitness. Everyone should be happy and healthy, especially kids. Physical education can make children more active and healthier by making kids using their bodies without extreme measures, and yet make it exhilarating at the same time. Physical education improves the children’s muscular strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, body composition and cardiovascular endurance. They are all going to be useful to them now and when they get older. It can also improve their self-esteem by them knowing that they are getting healthier.
