Summer oh summer. June 28, 1997; a boring summer day like usual. I would stay home, eat my brunch, watch television, snack, go on the computer, talk to friends, text friends, call friends, eat dinner, get ready for bed, read a comic book, and got to sleep like around 12 or 1. “This is where you will be staying,” she said.
“May I ask, what is your name?” I asked her.
“Diane, Diane Reap,” she replied. “Your grandmother’s room is the room at the end of the hall to the left of your doorway okay? By the time you both get downstairs, dinner will be sitting on the dining room table,” Diane explained.
“Okay. Thank you,” I thanked her.
I was only going to stay at the house only for a night and return home after lunch tomorrow so I thought, I should just...
