TDA 2.13 Provide displays in schools

NB YOU WILL NEED A COPY OF YOUR SETTING’S DISPLAY POLICY TO COMPLETE THIS TASK

This Task links to Learning outcomes 1, assessment criteria 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4


The word limit of the assignment is 800 words.

Quotations, headings and the Bibliography included in your work will not be counted in the word limit.


It is recommended that you use a 12 size font and a 1.5 size spacing.

You must include at least 4 references in your work from at least two different sources. Your sources of information need to be detailed in a bibliography presented on a separate page at the end of your assignment.
Do not copy information from textbooks and websites unless it is a quotation, use your own words and examples from your placement to illustrate your answers.

NB: Websites such as studymode or cyber-essays or any other site that displays other students’ essays are not acceptable as this is plagiarism.

Do not mention names of children, staff or settings.

|The display policy for my school is that the display should be of a high standard and that they should include the main       |
|learning topic i.e. math’s/science/literacy etc. throughout the entire curriculum. The school aims for the classrooms and     |
|entrance corridors to have outstanding and displays of the children’s work. In the classroom displays should have a “high     |
|percentage of the display in the classroom should be pupil’s work the work should significantly outweigh other display         |
|resources”(Southwold and orchard primary, 2010:5)....
