Virtual physician visit is the product I chose. It would be a structured visit for all patients for a finance standard of care for sicknesses of an acute nature. There would be a particular website for patients to have the ability to log into where he or she can contact a physician to have open communication. Once the patient has logged into the system and physician is contacted, then he or she can provide his or her symptoms to the physician for which is being experienced by way of email or instant messaging. The patient will then wait for the response of the physician returns addressing the patient's concerns. This process will provide the chance for the doctor to come up with the appropriate diagnosis, contact the patient’s pharmacy to send a prescription if there is a need or come up with a plan of care with specific instructions for the patient.
Upon the physician review, he or she decides the symptoms of the patient are much more serious, the patient will be required to be examined at an urgent care or even a local hospital to ensure he or she is not experiencing something more serious than original thought. This provides the patient safety if at any point the patient is not entirely sure of the patient’s problems, allowing the patient to sustain any further problems. In many cases, this type of service is cost effective, costing less than a typical office visit at a doctor’s office; the patient will be able to make payment online by a credit card. The patient is provided service around-the-clock with the ability to not leave his or her house or office. This product is very convenient along with cheaper. A form of communication is virtual care and the time has come it can be important in fixing our health care system the way it currently is now.
