This workbook aims to support the Learner to gain the knowledge and understanding required for this unit, and to guide the learner towards gathering evidence to demonstrate their competence for this unit.
Having gained the knowledge the Learner needs to demonstrate to their assessor they understand the knowledge requirement and can apply this in their work practice.

Aim:
The aim of this workbook is to enable the Learner to gain the knowledge and understanding of working relationships, work in ways that are agreed with the employer and work in partnership with others.

Learning outcomes 2 and 3 must be assessed in a real work environment.

1.1 Explain how a working relationship is different from a personal relationship and give THREE examples of the difference.It must be noted that the difference between a working relationship and a personal relationship are as follows;• Working relationships would be friendly within the work environment. It could be said to have a different approaches and everyone is treated with equality, everyone knows their roles and responsibility and are not obligated to share personal information as you would with friends outside work. Also a working relationship has no emotional attachment and is primary based around your job role. • On the other hand, a personal relationship has emotional attachment due to family and personal friends and is now way work related. Examples are; Boundaries and personal attachment, professional codes of conduct, employer policies and procedures |
