The feasibility of weeding out the tramway service
in Hong Kong
1. Abstract:
Do you think the tramway service can be weeded out in Hong Kong? It is a very controversial issue since different people have different opinion on this issue. Tramway provides a very slow and uncomfortable transportation service to the passenger. It is a very old transportation mode in Hong Kong that may be not suitable for the fast developing society. Tramway service will have a great impact if there is an accident on tram since there is a fixed route of trams and has no other alterative choice. However, some people may say I love its slow and uncomfortable service that it is the feature of trams. Also, trams have a great historical value that it was established in 1904 and it is alive after 100 years. Most of the tourists love to enjoy the trams service since it is one of the features of Hong Kong and it is the only one double desk vehicle in the world.
Therefore, I would like to find out all pros and cons of weeding out of tramway service, the opinion of different people and the actual usage of tramway to determine the existing value of tramway. To conduct my report, primary and secondary information both will be used.
After collect the information and data, I will analysis all to conduct my report. I hope I can find out the answer whether tramway can be weeded out or not. It is the aim of my report. At last, I would like to make conclusion and recommendation to my report. It is the whole view of my report.
