My paper today is to look at and discuss the methods of the scientific method process.   It is important to understand this method when not only dealing with science but everyday life.   The scientific method is and can be used and applied to many facets of life.   Campbell (1952): First, science is a body of useful and practical knowledge and a method of obtaining it. Science just like math is constantly used in everyday life.   Calder (1962): No, science is not just knowledge; it is knowledge working for its living, correcting itself, and adding to itself. Science, therefore, is a process. Feibleman (1972): Thus, science serves two human purposes: to know and to do. The former is a matter of understanding, the latter a matter of action.
When a person tries to take the time to apply the steps of the scientific method to a problem they could be more successful in arriving to a positive conclusion.   Once someone fully understands how to use the scientific method in their everyday lives they will see how much of a help it is to solving everyday problems that arise.
