Proposed Title:
A Special Skills Training for the Secondary Teachers on their chosen TESDA Skills for the readiness in the
technical vocational education of the benigno
“ninoy” s. aquino high school.
Research Design
This study will be relevant to the experimental method of research. An experimental study is a type of evaluation that seeks to determine whether a program or intervention had the intended causal effect on participants. The pre-test/post-test control group design will be used in this study. Relatively, the method is appropriate because it aims to test whether the special skills training for the secondary teachers in their chosen specialization of skills will makes their teaching far more productive and effective than those traditional types of teachers with traditional methods of teachings in preparing students in their future National Certification of Tesda in their chosen specialization.
This survey is appropriate in this study because one of the aims of the TechVoc curriculum in Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino High School is to produce effective and productive citizens who are able to deal with the requirements of continuous technological development and changes, and as well as exposing the students in what is really happening in real life. The questionnaire survey respondents were given ample time to assess the challenges facing by the teachers of different skills specializations. Their own experiences in practice are necessary in identifying its strengths and limitations.
Research Locale
The researcher decided to conduct his study at Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino High School – Deped Makati, District II, this is the institution where he teaches Computer Hardware Servicing as Tesda Skills Specialization.
