Introduction

This survey forms part of a mandatory assessment for all year 1 students of BIA. It is to test student’s understanding of how online surveys are conducted and analysed. There were 109 students who participated and while conducting this survey, various analyses were drawn from the BIA students, which includes their gender; age; level of confidence in statistics and computer software; group satisfaction; favourite module; lifestyle and achievement at the university and future plan Post University. At the end of the report, conclusions are drawn, with the use of the results provided and personal opinions.
The report analysis covers four different areas of studies which are:
  1) Males are more satisfied working in a group than females
  2) Most people that are the first in their family to study at university tend to live at home
  3) Older students prefer afternoon session than morning session and an additional study which is; the difference between genders could determine what type of session students would prefer.  
Each study is presented as a statement to be either confirmed or rejected and reasons for such statement are provided; followed by results of the analysis which is delivered in a table and graphical format.   Finally, the results of each analysis determines whether the statement is confirmed or rejected.
