I have the up to date accurate information about health 302.1.1 and safety requirements for kinderworld every morning before play barn opens myself and my 302.1.2 colleague check out areas of play barn for hazards and obstructions, this includes checking all fire exits are clear from obstructions all work ways are clear and any wires are out of reach from the children and that the play area is clean and safe to use. On Tuesday morning I did my usual safety check in 302.1.3 the play barn when I came across about 30 balls in the walk way towards the toilets, I removed all the balls and put them back in the ball pool, by doing this I identified the hazard and removed the hazards. Yesterday afternoon in the play barn a young child 302.1.4 dropped a cup of juice on the floor I placed warning signs around the spillage whilst I went to get some cleaning materials I cleaned the area and sanitised the area.   I surrounded the area with warning signs and left them there until I assessed the hazard from the spillage and managed the risk to an acceptable level. Making sure that all the children and adults attending 302.1.5 kinderworld/playbarn have information about health and safety and security procedures relevant to them. to insure this play barn have a list containing these rules and regulations which are on every table so all parents can read them, there are also relevant notices around the nursery.
