Political - Legislation changes can affect a business and the way it works, as can International policy for example, a change in a law could have consequences for the business in that it changes import laws, so any stock that you import, may be affected so you have to source the goods from elsewhere.
Economic - Your product no longer sells, you competitors are pushing you out of the market. You need to change the way you produce the goods or your pricing. This could also be because of over production which may make you reduce your prices to sell...
