Legislation reverent to the equality act 2010, which is relatively new that has been put in place to protect my clients from discrimination. Which has been tailor made to fit around them and their needs.
The human rights act 2000, gives people more rights and more opportunities for groups in society/ improved access e.g. Disability
Mental capacity act 2015 The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) is designed to protect and empower individuals who may lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions about their care and treatment. It is a law that applies to individuals aged 16 and over.

Gives everyone the right to the shelter, warmth and safety, and gives family the support that they truly need.

It's a term given for an individual with the significantly reduced ability to understand new or complex information.
