For a contemporary and easy access of voting and to carry out a smooth, reliable and efficient recording of votes. This study is taken in action through the utilization of Short Message Services (SMS) instead of using the social media site by liking through facebook that is constantly used during many events inside the institution.
SMS Voting is the easiest and fastest way to find out what your audience is thinking. Audience votes by sending an SMS from their mobile phone which is much better rather than the traditional facebook liking battles which can now be falsified because of the users who use “auto liking” which can easily produce thousands of likes for their candidates.
This will be developed by using C#.Net as its programming language and two(2) GSM Modem for receiving and sending votes. We could also use plug it. GSM modem is specialized type of modem which accepts a SIM card, and operates over a subscription to a mobile operator, just like a mobile phone. A GSM modem exposes an interface that allows applications such as SMS to send and receive messages over the modem interface. The mobile operator charges for this message sending and receiving as if it was performed directly on a mobile phone.
In order to develop and evaluate the said product, the researcher will conduct an interview and will use questionnaires as the basis. With the help of the respondents comments, constructive criticism and feedbacks will be obtained for the enhancement of the said product.
