Why Fear? Why Not Integrity?
Ms.Magazine featured an article on Melanie Sloan, the Executive Director O Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, written by Lyn Burstyn. Sloan took on a long neglected job; using the legal system and media to expose, discourage and prosecute misconduct in Congress. Their mission is to promote ethics and accountability in government and public life by targeting government officials, regardless of party affiliation, who sacrifice the common good to special interest.” Founded in 2003, CREW advances its mission by engaging in litigation, public advocacy, Freedom of Information Act request, media outreach and official complaints

You’d have been foolish to pay off a Democrat because they couldn’t do anything for you.” In my opinion, if people begin to question their practices and motivations as a worthy organization, after a time it will be seen as a left wing animal that has dedicated its efforts and power at harassing Republicans. Fearing they are out to destroy the Republican Party. Sloan stated that she felt the “ultraconservative Judicial Watch” committee has taken limited action or failed to act at all. Ironically Judicial Watch is the ethics organization that pursued President Clinton, a Democrat, in his sexual harassment of Paula Jones, and the word “ultraconservative” is always...
