The purpose of this report is to look at the possibilities and limitations of measuring a link between economic growth and happiness. It will define forms of measurement such as GDP and GNI and then go on to look at case studies that have explored economic growth and happiness such as The Happy Planet Index and the study of Bhutan in South East Asia.
